Hello world, i am Sidetrakka. Just wanted to give you some info on ME ,ME and ME!

The 1st time i went to a "do" (we used to call it "rave" in my day!) was about 1989/1990 and it consisted of a field at the arse end of nowhere, scaffolding tower with backdrops hanging off, a generator ,a strobe, a bloody great big sound system and a whole load of people who were mad as hatters but well up for a bit of moon stompin! I was hooked from the word GO and could often be found at 6.00am on a Sunday morning in some farmers field, nodding my head, wiggling my hips and blowing on a whistle like my life depended on it.

As the scene progressed, so did my friends and I.

Clubs started to pop up here and there and house parties and site do's were going strong.

Wot mad times eh?

I had a few mates that were d.j's (shit hot ones actually) and we used to go all over the place to hear them play. I always thought i wouldn't mind giving it a whirl but it was really a boy thing then , and to be honest, i was having such a mental time on the other side of the decks that mixing wasn't that important.............. ...............................UNTIL I MET POKEY!

Basically i met Pokey and it all went tits up from there! I have now been d.jing for 4 years and am loving it.

It's taken a while though. I've played in the kitchen for the first 12 months 'coz no one could bear the noise! But, since then i've played in clubs ,pubs and even done a couple of boat parties!
