Jay Why

Jay Why is the other half of Little, and is a bit of cracking jock himself.

Focusing (when physically possible) on the old skool hardcore / breakbeat vibe, Jay usually spins a mixture of classic old hardcore rave tunes mixed in with what I like to pigeonhole as 'nu-old-skool-hardcore' ( from now on known as NOSH house, which essentially are new tunes that sound like really well produced old hardcore)

This boy knows exactly want he wants to play and knows how to mix it well too.

Long, smooth and silky blending with a dash of salt and pepper and a crunchy topping is what you can expect from Jay Why's camp ....where knocking out crisp, punchy beats and a fat-assed subby bassline are generally the order of the day....but what really stands out for me is how he seems to make all those dodgy old records sound new again without ever overstepping the 'cheese' border
