My deckdreams were first inspired by my uncle, an established mobile jock and DMC member.
Things kicked off with a DJ SlipMatt mix tape , bought for my 14th birthday, which successfully hooked me on stomping beats
and was my ticket aboard the roller-coaster of dance music.
Finding an all-in-one mixing console in a forbidden store cupboard at the local youth club
gave me my first taster behind the wheels.
Once I had established that first (and much treasured ) collection of tunes,
the plan for Friday and Saturday nights was to blag a set at the nearest house party
After pumping out demo tapes like a factroy production line to clubs and bars, I got that first paid gig
....skip 4 years of crazy events.........
I joined an internet radio station called London Live and Direct doing a weekly breakbeat show,
gained experience in broadcasting and presenting music to the masses.
It was here I also met the legendary 'Kitchen Club'
I have played at many clubs and bars in London, the Home Counties and beyond, though I've yet to spin abroad.
I've had two residencies, run my own night , and follow the underground free party scene closely.
I currently work for HMV, Oxford Street as a buyer of vinyl specializing in Breaks and Beats,
but have a passion for music wider than Pavarotti's front door !
I may not be able to get to my bed for the mountain of records, have exchanged the money in my pockets
for record shop receipts and walk around with my hands stuck in the air................
........................but it's all good
